I have taken numerous courses, both in class and online and no one has been able to do what Ann has done for me. Ann brilliantly guided her class from making tiny, fearful baby steps with new words, to reaching out to others in our writing, expanding our self-confidence, and mostly engaging us in the art of writing. She not only taught us the hows, she also taught us the whys. She correspondingly showed us our inner critics and ways to deal with them. She addressed everything that a beginning writer feels and needs. She also did something for me which she is unaware of. My son read some of my assignments and listened to me talk about the lessons.
